BYU rated #20 in Computerworld Techno MBA Poll (Harvard, MIT, Stanford and Berkeley Trumped by Northeastern, Texas, Maryland and Alabama in Computerworld's Techno MBA Poll)
Computerworld, a leading technology
newspaper, has put together a poll to identify the top 25 MBA
programs for preparing technology graduates. The poll is
surprisingly different from the well-known US News &World Report
rankings, putting BYU at number 20, ahead of Harvard, Yale, MIT,
Stanford and Berkely, highly regarded MBA programs that did not make
the top 25.

BYU med school? Not anytime soon
That OTHER school in Utah (not BYU) has opened up the new Huntsman
Cancer Institute, increasing its lead and prestige in the field of
medicine. Will BYU ever compete and open a medical school of their
own? Many BYU pre-med students want to know. After all, there are
hundreds of them each year, and they excel in competitiveness, and
would like to remain true to their school (there's enough blood red
in medicine without having to go to the U of U).
Galbraith gives six temple templates
In a recent address to students at Ricks College, John Galbraith (former
mission president of the Russia Novosibirsk Mission) took on the mantle of
"surrogate mission president" to the many returned missionaries there. "Be
careful," he said." I plead with you, it's time to get back on track. I
don't mean tomorrow. Today."
