Atlanta Stakes launch cable TV show (New cable show aims at teens, young kids)

The seven metro-Atlanta area stakes are launching a new weekly cable TV show called "Spiritual Living." The show will focus on young children and on teens, and emphasize Christ's role in their lives. It will also discuss ways parents can teach children about prayer and faith.

Mormon Musicians Gather Wednesday for PEARL Awards

The Faith Centered Music Association will present its annual PEARL awards at 8 p.m. tonight in a gala ceremony and concert at the Salt Lake Community College's Grant Theatre. The awards, created in 1997, seek to recognize musicians performing and writing for the LDS market. At the gala tonight, the nominees for Performing Artist of the Year and Best New Artist will perform.

Book of Mormon stories filmed in Kaysville

"This is being done to fulfill people's dreams," said Mell. "Everyone is donating their time. Nobody gets paid until we find out how the movie does." Happy Hollow was chosen because of its jungle-like atmosphere. "Once I walked back there, I knew this must be the place," Mell said.
