BYU rated #20 in Computerworld Techno MBA Poll (Harvard, MIT, Stanford and Berkeley Trumped by Northeastern, Texas, Maryland and Alabama in Computerworld's Techno MBA Poll)

Framingham, Massachussetts -- Computerworld, a leading technology newspaper, has put together a poll to identify the top 25 MBA programs for preparing technology graduates. The poll is surprisingly different from the well-known US News &World Report rankings, putting BYU at number 20, ahead of Harvard, Yale, MIT, Stanford and Berkely, highly regarded MBA programs that did not make the top 25.

The Computerworld poll looks at issues like starting salaries of graduates and the MBA programs use and focus on technology. This is the first year that well-known schools like Harvard, Yale and MIT failed to even qualify for the top 25 in the poll, which started in 1997.
