LDS member Michael K. Young has been appointed to the newly formed United States Commission on International Religious Freedom. Young is the dean of George Washington School of Law and a member of the McLean Ward in the McLean Virginia Stake.

Mormon church leader, Jack Hall, dies at age 63

Former Tallahassee Stake President Jack Hall, 63, died Thursday, June 17th following a four-year battle with cancer.

Forester, a freelance video editor helps his children, sings to them, helps his daughter with her homework, and provides a lap for cuddling. But Forester is a little unusual as a father because he has spinal muscular atrophy which confines him to a wheelchair.

The story of a man named Brady

While he changed careers, went to medical school and completed a residency, Brady Benham has managed to stay involved in his children's lives. Benham, 41, a member of the LDS Church, makes time in his demanding residency to be involved with all eight of his children, coaching one son's flag football team, serving as scoutmaster, taking another to an amusement park, rewarding others with treats after chores or their piano lessons.

A thousand mostly die-hard Osmond fans thronged this week to the Bookends Bookstore in Ridgewood, New Jersey where Donny Osmond kicked off a national tour to promote his new book, "Life Is Just What You Make It: My Story So Far."
