Angel Tops Church Temple In Northwest Houston
The guilded gold statue of the Angel Moroni was placed on
the spire of the LDS Church's new Houston Texas Temple yesterday.
Nauvoo Temple Construction may begin next year (Nauvoo Temple Construction News)
Nauvoo business owners met recently with Nauvoo Restoration, Inc., the
Mormon organization seeking to restore Nauvoo, and with LDS Church
architect Bob Dewey. In the meeting, Dewey reportedly told the businessmen
that construction on the new Nauvoo Temple could start as early as next
year.

the Kiev Temple.
Steeple on hold, temple work progresses
This week, construction workers will begin
installing 4-by-6-foot panels of imported Italian granite on the exterior
of the Boston, Massachussets Temple, while attorneys prepare for a court
hearing next month on the height of the temple's single steeple, planned at
70 feet higher than local zoning rules allow.
