Utah Redistricting May Give Matheson Boost
The Republicans succeeded in remapping Democratic Congressman Jim Matheson's district, dividing his democratic stronghold and adding more republican territory. But Matheson, an LDS Church member like the other Utah congressmen, is not going into political oblivion quietly. And some analysts believe he may actually benefit from the changes.

LDS Candidates Now Quadrupled in Municipal Elections
The number of LDS candidates reported running in the 2001 Alberta municipal elections has jumped to 20 from last week's five. This week's total also includes candidates for two mayoral seats, three health region boards and one school board.
