SportsWest Is Must-See TV

Sports fans in the west will get to see more football and basketball as a result of an outgrowth of the Blue &White Network, a Salt Lake City based sports network owned by Bonneville Communications, the LDS Church's television and radio holding company. In the past Blue & White has broadcast mainly BYU sporting events. But with the inception of SportsWest, that scope will broaden.

This article mainly looks at the benefits that will be given to the University of New Mexico Lobos, but also reviews how the new network will broadcast football and basketball games for schools like University of Texas, El Paso (UTEP), Colorado State, and Wyoming.
