"We believe that SportsWest will provide a great benefit to sports fans as well as the nine universities and their local television affiliates," said Steve Lindsley, President of KSL TV Group, parent company of SportsWest. "Fans will see more of their favorite local college teams, while each school will benefit from the additional exposure and rights fees."

In addition to KSL-TV in Salt Lake, SportsWest games will be carried on Cox Communications (San Diego, Calif., and Las Vegas, Nev.), KRQE-TV (Albuquerque, N.M.), KLAS-TV (Las Vegas, Nev.), KXRM-TV (Colorado Springs, Colo.), KTWO-TV (Casper, Wyo.), KKWB-TV (El Paso, TX).
