Hawking is obviously dissapointed that her searches at the LDS Church's Family Search site turn up nothing on her own family.

Handcart Polygamists?

Tribune reporters Rolly and Wells report that the LDS Church, sensitive to polygamy issues, changed the design of Stanley J. Watts' new sculpture, "Journey's End," which was installed last week in This is the Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City. Afraid that the family depicted in the sculpture might appear to be polygamous, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve suggested the design change.
