Belmont temple rises rapidly

In spite of the threat of two lawsuits, the new $30 Million LDS Temple in Belmot, MA (near Boston) is rising rapidly.

Washington D.C. Temple Visitors Center Closed

The Washington D.C. Temple Visitor's Center will close, beginning Monday, Jan. 4, for an indefinite period of time while major renovations are in progress at the center.

Missionary Training Center president

Archie O. Egbert was called by the First Presidency to serve as president of the Missionary Training Center in Columbia. President Egbert, who is 67, served as president of the Chile Vina del Mar Mission. He and his wife, Mary Ann, are members of the Garden Heights Ward, Salt Lake Wilford Stake.
