Former ZCMI Stores Open on Sunday for First Time
Evidenced by a move that ends a 133-years of closed-on-Sunday business policy, Meier &Frank, formerly ZCMI, are now open on Sunday. Meier &Frank's parent company, the Oregon-based St. Louis May Department Stores who bought ZCMI in 1999, announced the new hours this week along with the scheduled name change starting April 18th, as part of a $60 million renovation.

MSI: EarthShell Up Again, Drives Mormon Stock Index Up
Tiny startup EarthShell jumped another 50% last week, making a significant contribution to the nearly 7% rise in the Mormon Stock Index last week. The index again outperformed the New York Stock Exchange and Dow Jones Industrials but fell short of the more than 10% rise in the NASDAQ. The increase put the MSI at 121.73, near a historic high.
