Mormon News introduces today a new weekly feature listing recent performance statistics for Mormon professional athletes. The weekly statistics will give readers the ability to easily track the Mormon athletes currently performing and allow readers to review how well these athletes are performing.

  First-Round LDS Football Draft Pick Signs with Colts
Former BYU football star and LDS returned missionary Rob "Freight Train" Morris signed a five-year contract with the Indianpolis Colts Wednesday and immediately joined the team in practice, two weeks behind the Colts' other rookies. Indianapolis picked Morris in the first round of the NFL draft (28th overall) and expects him to be in their starting lineup when the NFL season opens in the fall.

  Coach Reid diagrams a secret play at the stove
It may not be unusual for the Philadelphia Inquirer to run a feature article about Eagles coach and LDS Church member Andy Reid, but it is certainly unusual for the article to appear in the food section. Reid, it seems, loves to cook, and has a few unique recipes that reporter Maria Gallagher persuaded him to share. But, as you might expect for recipes from a football coach, these are not light entres.
