  Julie Debuts on 'Real World' Tonight
BYU student Julie's life for the past few months will come under public scrutiny tonight as the new season of MTV's "Real World debuts. While her status at BYU remains uncertain, many people will find out more about Julie and about the LDS Church through what she did during the past few months.

  Did MTV Stint Break BYU's Honor Code?
The story that a BYU student was included on MTV's "Real World" continues to expand, with the Associated Press now distributing the story that Julie may not be allowed back to BYU. The school is looking at the situation because as part of the show, she lived in a house with four men and two other women, in violation of BYU's housing policy.

  Former San Jose Mayor Joseph Pace Remembered
An LDS family physician, stake president, councilman and San Jose mayor was remembered in the San Jose Mercury News June 9th following his death in Salt Lake City on May 21st. Dr. Joseph L. Pace was a physician 'of the old school' in San Jose for nearly 40 years, taking his black bag with him as he made house calls to those who needed his services.

  Japanese Family To Ride Across The Continent
A Japanese LDS Family will start from New York City and head for San Francisco on June 7th. Osamu Sekiguchi and his wife Takako will embark on a daring new adventure with their sons, Yuji (12) and Koji (10), members of Tokyo North Stake in Japan, by riding on mountain bikes across the continent.

  LDS Student Named Senior Standout
El Dorado High School had a graduating class of almost 500 students. Named as Senior Standout was Janna McFerson, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

  Long Marriages Run In This LDS Family
June l9, will represent a combined 120 years of wedded bliss for the Kirkpatrick and Taylor families. Ray Kirkpatrick, 92, and his wife, Juanita, 90, will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary along with their daughter Jeanetta, and her husband Virgil who will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.
