Soil Sampling Done, Spring Construction start

Literski reports that the LDS Church plans to begin construction on the Nauvoo Temple next spring. Drawing on an article in the August 6th Madison Wisconsin Capital Times, the report says that engineers have completed collecting soil samples.

The article, which quotes Elder Loren Burton, the Seventy in charge of public relations for Nauvoo, also indicates that construction is scheduled to be complete in about two years. He also indicates that it will cost more than $20 million to construct the building.
