Two LDS Education conferences this weekend (Education briefs)

Two different LDS Education conferences are scheduled for this weekend. The LDS Home-Schoolers will meet on Saturday, August 14th at Timpview High School in Provo. The conference features keynote speaker Gayle Ruzika, mother of 12 and president of the Utah Eagle Forum. The convention, titled "How Firm a Foundation," will be held from 8:30 am to 5 pm, and will include an LDS products and educational resources fair.

Also this Saturday is the second annual LDS Education Forum. Sponsored by the Benjamin Franklin Academy Learning Centers and others, the conference will be held at BYU's Wilkinson Center. Speakers at the Forum will discuss how LDS principles are applied to public, private and home schooling.
