Perhaps he should get a Tithing Rebate? (There Goes the Neighborhood)

Summarized by Kent Larsen

Perhaps he should get a Tithing Rebate? (There Goes the Neighborhood)
Salt Lake Tribune 4Aug99 L1
By Paul Rolly and JoAnn Jacobsen-Wells: Salt Lake Tribune

Evidently there are still lots of people that don't know LDS Presidential candidate Orrin Hatch's religious affiliation. At least some of these people must work at America Online, where a web page with basic information on the presidential candidates listed Hatch's religion as "Presbyterian," according to Salt Lake Tribune columnists Rolly and Wells.

The website, located at http://Election2000.aol.com/Hatch.htm, also indicates Hatch's zodiac sign, in case you need to know.

[By late Wednesday evening, Hatch's religious affiliation had been changed to "Mormon," which although it is not technically correct, is understood by most U.S. citizens to mean the LDS Church.]
