Kahuku Hospital celebrates 50th year

Kahuku Hospital, a community hospital on the north shore of Oahu, is here to stay. The Hospital, owned by Hawaii Reserves, Inc., a unit of the LDS Church, is celebrating 50 sometimes rocky years of providing health care in Hawaii. Hawaii Reserves President Daniel T. Ditto says, "I believe the hospital is here to stay now."

Little Grass Shack owners have a little bit of everything

If you are hungry for Lupulu, kumala, otai or kalua pig you can go to the Polynesian Islands or the "Little Grass Shack", located at 1218 N. 900 East, Provo, Utah. Hinemoa Soakai and her husband, Norman, opened the authentic restaurant when they retired and moved from Ogden. Hoping to attract "anyone who loves to try different things," Hinemoa invites the curious.
