Trial casts light on Mormon life

The jury is still deliberating the fate of LDS church member Scott Falater, on trial for stabbing his wife 44 times and drowning her in their pool. But the trial has opened a window into the lives of LDS church members, allowing outsiders to see some of the issues that members hold dear and some of the potential conflicts in a family. Falater murder case goes to jury

The jury has heard the case and now must decide whether or not LDS Church member Scott Falater is guilty of killing his wife. After hearing final arguments, the jury deliberated for 90 minutes on Wednesday and was expected to resume deliberations today.
