Collegiate Baseball Magazine named 6-foot-3 BYU first baseman David Jensen
to the 1999 Louisville slugger Freshman All-American team. Jensen hit .368
for the season with 35 RBI's, six homers and a .603 slugging percentage. He
started the season as WAC Player of the Week and lead the WAC with 23
doubles. To finish the season Jensen hit clutch doubles for a win over
rival Utah.
