Heber probe finds material for bombs
(Phoenix) AZ Republic 27May99 C6
By The Associated Press

HEBER, ARIZONA -- While investigators looking into an explosion at an LDS Chapel here are having little success identifying suspects, Federal agenst indicated that they have found materials that might have been used in a bomb. U.S. Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms spokesman Larry Bettendorf said, "We're not speculating about what type of device it was."

The investigators finished thier analysis of the crime scene yesterday and turned it back over to the local Bishop, who indicated that the Chapel may be ready for normal meetings on Sunday.

The explosive device was apparently placed on a window sill outside the church on Sunday. It blew up a classroom, porch and doors in the building.
