At conference, Bulgarian youth realize many share their beliefs

BATAK, Bulgaria -- Bulgaria's first youth conference was held recently in Batak. Church Educational System missionaries organized the three-day conference, which was centered on the theme, "Choose the Right." At least 106 Bulgarian teens attended workshops on manners, courtesy, music, media, and cooking. They also played games, participated in a talent show, and had a special sacrament meeting.

It is easy for Bulgarian youth to feel isolated. Most of them live in small branches that are spread out across the country. Now, the youth know that there are "many here who share the same belief."
