The LDS Church has announced the calls of two couples as Temple President and Matron of new Temples.

The new Madrid Spain Temple, which will be dedicated March 19-21st, will get William Clive Barney, 69, of Layton Utah as President and his wife Jean Louise Kasparek Barney as Matron. President Barney is a retired Church employee and was also a mechanical engineer in the U.S. Air Force. Sister Barney is a graduate of BYU.

The Colonia Juarez Chihuahua Temple, which is scheduled to be dediated March 6-7, will have Meredith Irvin Romney, 57, of Colonia Juarez as President and his wife, Karen Sue Ellsworth Romney, as Matron. President Romney was a farmer and rancher. Sister Romney attended BYU.
