SEATTLE, WASHINGTON - James D. Hart has resigned as President of Northwest
Hospital in Seattle, Washington to serve as a Mission President. Hart will
be replaced byt the current CEO, who will add the duties of President to his
own.
Hart worked for Northwest for 25 years. During that time, Northwest has
become one of the premier hospitals in Seattle, specializing in cancer
research and in quality of care.
Hart will remain as President of Quality Sciences and Research until June,
when he will begin serving as a mission president. The hospital hopes that
Hart will return after his mission to that same responsibility.
The LDS Church announced last week that Hart would be serving as a mission
president, but his assingment has not yet been announced.
