Gossip columnist Liz Smith reports that Actress Brooke Smith (she played the woman captive in "The Silence of the Lambs" was married to Steve Lubensky on January 6th by "a Mormon clergyman" on the Caribbean island of Carriacou.

Unfortunately, she doesn't indicate wheather Smith or her husband is Mormon. Smith's mother is Lois Smith, a PR professional who has managed Marilyn Monroe, Cher, Robert Redford, Sean Penn and Whitney Houston, among others.
