Will Wally Return to Wally World?
Wally is back with the Angels, and the big question is whether he can recreate Wall World. Wally Joyner returns to Major League Baseball's Anaheim Angels as a veteran first baseman, just when the team needed him. But at the end of his career, Joyner doesn't have the promise he had in 1986, when he first joined the Angels as a rookie. In what will likely be his last season, Joyner could either go out with a bang, giving Wally World one last open season, or leave it virtually shuttered.

Murphy is Hall-of-Famer in their Hearts
If fans had anything to do with it, LDS baseball star Dale Murphy would be in Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame. Murphy visited North Carolina Saturday to sign the many things that fans brought to Batter's Up Trading Cards, a shop that brought Murphy in for its grand opening. He's one of the nicest guys in sports," said Charles Jackson, co-owner of Batter's Up. "If all athletes were as nice as Dale, they'd make a killing. This is our grand opening and we got the right guy to be our guest."

Sports: Additional Mormon Golfer, Baseball Players Identified
Mormon News subscribers have identified one additional pro golfer and several additional pro baseball players that are Mormon, bringing the total number of known active Mormons on the PGA tour to seven and the number in Major League Baseball to seven, with two additional players that have appeared in the majors but are now in the minor leagues.
