Christmas At Studio B Features an All-Star Musical Lineup

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -- On December 8 at 7 p.m., KJZZ-TV will air an hour-long musical Christmas special with an intimate and uniquely intermountain flavor.

Featuring an all-star lineup of musicians and singers from the Intermountain West, Christmas at Studio B promises to be a musical Christmas feast. The special will air twice more on Sunday the 17th at 5 p.m. and Monday the 18th at 8 p.m.

Taking the Studio B stage are popular singer-songwriter Peter Breinholt, acoustic trio Colors and folk ensemble Enoch Train. Bluegrass boys Ryan Shupe &the Rubberband, songstress Julie de Azevedo and folk guru Shane Jackman will each get into the holiday spirit by putting Christmas spins on their individual and unique styles.

Pianist Jon Schmidt will take his turn on the Studio B stage, as will songwriter Cherie Call, pianist David Tolk and rocker Greg Simpson, whose songs recently anchored the soundtrack to the hit independent film, God's Army. Rounding out the list is newcomer Maren Ord, the 19-year old rising star whose debut album Waiting is already making waves on the national music scene.

The special will feature intimate performances from each of these popular artists, as well as backstage footage and interviews. KJZZ-TV plans to air the special twice more in December, on Sunday the 17th and Monday the 18th.
