 LDS Man Trying To Walk Into Olympics
John Nunn, a 22-year-old former Harrison, Indiana High School graduate, isn't running towards his goal of a spot at the July U.S. Olympic trials. He is walking, and doing that as fast as he can. The rules are tough and state that one foot must be on the ground at all times. As soon as one foot hits the ground, the leg above that foot must be straight; the knee cannot bend. Sound like a lot to remember? Nunn had plenty of practice while serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

 LDS High Jumper Seeks Olympics
High jumper Charles Clinger is hoping to realize his life-long dream of competing in the Olympic games in Sydney this September. Clinger, a 6' 9" Weber State junior, is already well on his way. Clearing a personal-best height of 7 feet 6 inches, his recent performance in the Stanford Invitational broke the Big Sky Conference record and ranked as the best jump in the nation this season.
