| New Institute Website is 'Great Communication Tool' |
| The Church Educational System has posted an official
CES Internet web site that was developed by the Church Internet Development
Group. The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints has approved this site, after asking local units of the Church last
March to discontinue non-official web sites. The Church Educational System
will operate and maintain the site that will make information about
institute programs, classes and activities more accessible to college-age
young adults. |
| Internet: Well-Designed Sites Dominate For a Change |
| Most of the new websites listed this week are
well-designed, fairly easy to use and visually appealing, a change
from the many small, personal sites that sometimes seem to dominate
our listings of new sites. Surprisingly, the most interesting is "Why
Prophets," which isn't even a commercial site, but is still visually
appealing and useful. |
