Madsen Again Gets a Lot of Court Time; Weir, Blake Finish in Top Ten
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Mark Madsen again benefited from the absence of
Laker's star Shaquille O'Neal, getting a lot more playing time last week.
But subsequent games show that with Shaq's return, Madsen isn't getting as
much playing time.Meanwhile, offensive lineman Eric Bateman continued
playing for the XFL's Las Vegas Outlaws, which have won both their games in
the nascent league's season.
In Golf, Mike Weir recorded is best score of the new PGA season, tying for
fifth in the Buick Invitational, followed by only a couple spots by Jay Don
Blake, who tied for seventh in his best performance of the season.
