Pollard Doubles Scoring, Bradley's Playing Time Cut in Half
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- The Dallas Mavericks' Shawn Bradley had his
playing time cut in half during the past week, to just over a hour in
the three games the Mavericks played. But while his playing time was
cut, his scoring still remained at nearly the same level. Meanwhile,
the Sacramento Kings' Scot Pollard exploded, scoring 29 points over
three games last week, a rate more than double what he had scored for
the preceding week.
In Golf, Jay Don Blake, Dan Forsman and Mike Weir all played in the
Phoenix Open this past weekend, and all three made the cut.
Predictably, Weir ended up with the largest purse, in 23rd place.
News reports also show that the Senior PGA tour will begins its first
event of the year this weekend, and LDS player Bruce Summerhays will
play.
