 BYU Men's Basketball May Play on Monday Evenings
None of the teams in the new Mountain West Conference likes the conference's current schedule. But the proposal for next year's schedule may solve most problems -- and get the league more TV time as well. But under the schedule, BYU would have to break its tradition and play on Monday evenings -- and BYU Coach Steve Cleveland is open to the idea.

 RM Has Number Retired by U. Calgary
Returned Missionary Richard Bohne, star basketball player for the University of Calgary Dinos, had his number retired by the University on February 12th, just the University's third college player to have a number retired. Bohne is the team's all-time leading scorer and was a former member of the Canadian National Team.

 UCI center Ethington is a man on a mission
University of California, Irvine starting center Greg Ethington won't play next season, or the season after that. Ethington has been called to serve in the Vancouver, British Columbia Mission for the LDS Church.
