Another Ute preparing for wedding & bowl
Deseret News 14Dec99 P2
By Linda Hamilton: Deseret News sports writer

These stories look at two University of Utah football players getting married as they get ready to play in the Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday. Quarterback T.D. Croshaw is marrying former team trainer Kirsten Kingery on Thursday at the Salt Lake Temple. They set the date when Brother Croshaw was a back-up quarterback, but now he's the starter.

The other marriage takes place Monday between junior offensive player Steve McKane and Kami Staples. Both football players say they're nervous... but not about their nuptials. Brother McKane says, "I'm more nervous about the bowl game." Brother Croshaw says his wife is "just excited for both events." They'll head to Hawaii next week for their somewhat delayed honeymoon "to try to make up for it."
