APEX, NORTH CAROLINA -- President Gordon B. Hinckley laid the
cornerstone to the Raleigh North Carolina Temple as part of the
dedicatory ceremonies held this past weekend. LDS Church member Jeff
Jackson reports on his website,

present for the cornerstone laying ceremony. Elders M. Russell Ballard
and Loren C. Dunn also participated in the ceremonies.
Four dedicatory sessions were held on Saturday and three additional
ceremonies were on Sunday. The $5 million Raleigh Temple is the first in
North Carolina and the 68th in the World.
