DOVER, NEW HAMPSHIRE -- A New Hampshire man is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old child and a 9-year-old child that he met through a Mormon church in Somersworth, New Hampshire. Marc Estes, 28, of Dover, is being held on $50,000 cash bail. He was arraigned on Wednesday, November 24th as a fugitive from justice.

Estes is a fugitive on an arrest warrant from Kentucky, where he is wanted for sexually assaulting two boys under 16 in Frankfort. Information from Kentucky indicates that Estes traveled to Kentucky from New Hampshire with one of the boys in order to meet the other. The circumstances lead investigators to think he may have committed other crimes in New Hampshire.

Estes had recently been hired as a Special Education teacher in the Rochester, New Hampshire School District after working for the district's Family Eduation Center since 1998. He had cleared FBI background checks.
