BYU earns 1st Mountain West Conference Title -- In Volleyball (Cougars claim MWC volleyball title)

PROVO, UTAH --The 10th ranked BYU Cougars' women's volleyball team added the new Mountain West Conference's championship banner to their record by beating No. 11 Colorado State in four games. The Cougars improved to 24-3 overall and 13-1 in conference play. Coach Elaine Michaelis won her 16th championship in the four different conferences that the Cougars have played in.

The Cougars now must participate in the first Mountain West Conference volleyball tournament, which they will host starting Wednesday, and continuing on Friday and Saturday.
