Todd Heap, an ASU freshman, made that same decision to stay and play football. Yet, former Mesa Mountain View High stars, guard Kenny Crandall and forward Ned James, decided differently. They are now serving church missions after spending one year in college. Crandall is serving a mission in Eugene, Oregon while James also made a decision to serve for two years.
