PROVO, UTAH -- Provo resident and LDS church member, Stephen R. Covey, vice-chairman of the FranklinCovey Company and writer of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, was a part of the fourth Annual Worldwide Lessons in Leadership Series, which were broadcast nationally.

The sessions highlighted the successes of Ted Turner, Steve Case and Richard Branson. Turner, Case and Branson are considered three of the most successful entrepreneurs of the time, said Geoffrey Colvin of Fortune Magazine. These three along with Stephen R. Covey shared what they felt were factors in their business success.

Covey says said the leaders that have really made a difference in businesses are those with strong characteristics such as integrity, communication skills, social skills and vision.

Ted Turner is the founder of CNN, Vice Chairman of Time-Warner and owner of the Atlanta Braves and Atlanta Hawks. Richard Branson serves as chairman of the Virgin Group. Steve Case is chairman and CEO of America Online.
