Utah's New Boy Band Jericho Road Receives National Attention

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH -- The phenomenal new group Jericho Road is airing on radio stations across the country from New York to Utah and from Minnesota to Louisiana. Abe Mills, Bret Bryce, Dave Kimball, and Justin Smith have burst into the music world as a hot new boy band produced in Utah.

Jericho Road will be seen on Fox 13's nine o'clock newscast on February 7, 2002 and heard on Everyday Lives Everyday Values with Doug Wright on KSL radio on February 10, 2002 at 9:00 A.M. On February 11, 2002, WWJC radio in Duluth, Minnesota will broadcast a live telephone interview with the group at 9:00 A.M.; the same day, Jericho Road will perform live at the ZCMI Deseret Book store from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. They can be heard introducing "Another Day With Trey" and performing songs from their CD on WJOC radio in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and singing their hit "Inside of Me" is gaining fans in New Orleans, Louisiana on WSHO radio.

Jericho Road will also be performing at a fundraiser for the Special Olympics at the premiere of the motion picture Out of Step being held at Jordan Landing February 13, 2002 at 6:00 P.M.

Jericho Road previously performed together for two years as VOX, and have since worked with Nashville songwriters as well as award-winning producer Tyler Castleton to create their debut album: Jericho Road (Shadow Mountain, $15.98). Showcased on the album are songs and styles in the tradition of pop stars such as the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync: "If That's What It Takes," "What His Love Is For," "There Is No End," and "Inside of Me," which is also featured in a new music video.

The fan base for Jericho Road is growing at astonishing speed. The band has received over 300 concert requests and when they asked for five volunteers to join the VIP Fan Team to help spread the word about Jericho Road, they received 150 applications. There are now twenty members of the VIP Fan Team in California, Hawaii, Idaho, Missouri, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington, and of course their home state of Utah.

David Wolfe Music Director for WASB in Brockport New York summed Jericho Road up best when he wrote, "They are Good!"

Jericho Road has what it takes to make it and the country is finding this out. The West will get a real look at what Jericho Road can do when they go on a twelve-city tour of the western United States in May.
