March Madness Approaches, Weir 2nd at Genuity
NEW YORK, NEW YORK -- Golfer Mike Weir finished in 2nd place in this
past weekend's Genuity Championship, earning $480,000, more than
doubling his earnings so far this year. This is Weir's second top 5
finish so far, starting him off well this year. Meanwhile, the NCAA's
annual tournament is fast approaching, and Mormon News is asking
subscribers to help identify teams with Mormon players.
Meanwhile, in the NBA, Scot Pollard had another good week, scoring a
total of 45 points over three games while pulling down 39 rebounds.
Travis Knight continues on the bench, while Mark Madsen was unable to
do much with the additional playing time he got.
So far, Mormon News has identified the following teams with Mormon
players that either will be going to the NCAA tournament, or are
expected to go. We would appreciate any updates to this list:
