Seven Mormons In Virginia Production of Carousel

FREDERICKSBURG, VIRGINIA -- Seven Mormons recently performed on stage at the Riverside Center in "Carousel." Brad Ransom, (a systems engineer with Lockheed Martin,) played the role of Enoch Snow. Russell Rowland, a popular vocal soloist in the Virginia area played the role of Jigger Craigen. Maija-Liisa Nielson was Julie Jordan, while three Members of the Walpole family, father Bob, and sons Robert and Kendric performed in a variety of roles.

In addition, Greg Olson performed as one of Snow Children. Mormon ladies headed by Janet Walpole sewed most of the costumes and many other church members worked in stage and production crews.

The Riverside is a beautiful facility and has been a great place for church members to perform and attend. The center is a dinner theatre that puts on four Broadway plays a year.
