Primary Pianist Takes Talent Elsewhere

Primary Pianist Takes Talent Elsewhere

LETHBRIDGE - Kelliane Cahoon, a primary pianist in the Lethbridge Ninth Ward, is on her way to the big leagues.

The 22-year old who grew up in Raymond is well-known to many throughout Southern Alberta. Cahoon has performed in many venues across the region including the most recent Taber Cornfest where her choreography, range of talent and "voice gymnastics" helped her place considerably high above her competitors.

Recently Cahoon signed up with ABC Management in Seattle, WA. ABC Management manages models, talent and sports figures. With help from her new manager she is putting together her debut album and to attend a photo shoot in Los Angeles, CA.

Still without a writer, Cahoon is far from being without material for her new pop music album. Many friends and family have come forth with material for her to draw from. The material just keeps coming in as well.

Saturday Nite Live, a music and entertainment guide for Lethbridge, has touted her as having "the range of Mariah Carey, the strength of Celine Dion, the attitude of Whitney Houston and the vocal elasticity of Christina Aguilera. Her ballads have been known to draw audiences to tears, and her upbeat songs have drawn crowds of all ages."

Cahoon is currently funding the production of her album by performing at weddings and other occasions throughout Southern Alberta.
