PROVO, UTAH -- BYU coach LaVell Edwards reached a major coaching milestone on Saturday as BYU beat Air Force 27-20 giving Edwards his 250th career victory. The victory also moved BYU up one spot in the polls to 15 in the Associated Press poll and 12 in the CBS Sportsline Power Poll.

BYU's Heisman trophy candidate Kevin Feterik threw for 336 yards, completing 24 of 31 passes, including two touchdown tosses. BYU's record improved to 7-1 overall, 4-0 for the Mountain West Conference.
