LDS Church's New Ogden Apartments Dedicated
OGDEN, UTAH -- The Colonial Court Apartments, a 221-papartment
complex, built on land owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints and developed by Zions Securities Corp. was dedicated
Friday in Ogden, Utah.
The new complex is the answer for residents who were looking for a
convenient place to live, for the Church who was looking for good use
of some of its land and for city officials who were looking for
revitalization of the downtown area.
Those attending the complex's launch Friday raved about the beauty of
the complex, their proximity to the temple and its significance to
revitalizing downtown Ogden.
Colonial Court is for people age 55 and older, although up to
20percent of the apartments will be available for leasing to
others.The first residents moved into their apartments in September.
