EPHRAIM, UTAH -- Snow College students have received a hateful e-mail for
the second consecutive year. This year an anonymous e-mail was sent to all
2600 students at the Ephraim, Utah, school, asserting that a worker at the
college has served a sentence for fraud, and that he faces a sexual
harrassment lawsuit.
The e-mail has left administrators reconsidering the e-mail system, which
allows an individual to send a message to all students enrolled at the
junior college. Other colleges and universities in the Utah system do not
facilitate such mass-mailed e-mail messages.
A year ago, an anonymous e-mail was sent to hundreds of students, accusing
one of getting another pregnant. It also derided LDS church members.
