Crews detonate pipe bomb found at Taylorsville church

TAYLORSVILLE, UTAH - A maintenance worker at an LDS chapel in Taylorsville, Utah, southwest of Salt Lake City, discovered a pipe bomb about 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7th. The "bomb," actually a pipe stuffed with sparklers, was leaning against a storage shed.

Hit cyclist remains in coma 'Broken-hearted' truck driver checks up on victim every day

The man hit by a truck while biking near Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon on Wednesday has been identified as Joey Valdez, 3l of Orem. He is in critical condition at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center where he remains in a coma. His condition is complicated by a broken pelvis, a collapsed lung and the concern of kidney and organ failure.
