BYU Women's Soccer ranked 14th in preseason polls (Women's preseason rankings)

BYU's Lady Cougar soccer team is ranked in the Division I NSCAA Top 25, according to the rankings of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. The Lady Cougars ended last year with a 20-5-0 record and were given a total of 89 points in the rankings.

In first place this year is again the University of North Carolina, which has been coached by LDS Church member Anson Dorrance. UNC has won 14 national titles in the 17-year history of the Divison I women's soccer championship. Last year they were upset by the University of Florida who shocked the division by beating UNC in the championship 1-0. Florida is ranked in a tie for 4th in the preseason poll.
