18 year old Scott Raymond of Bozeman, Montana, has been chosen as
one of the 141 high school seniors from around the United States who will
attend a special gathering at the White House.
The White House Commission on Presidential Scholars will be held
June 23rd in Washington, D.C. Brother Raymond is his senior class
president, an Eagle Scout, and an accomplished pianist. He is also
a young man with high goals of "bettering humanity and helping the
world progress."
He has turned down chances to attend Harvard, MIT, and Stanford so that
he can go to BYU as prepares to serve a full-time mission. Brother
Raymond is eager to meet Bill Clinton. "I think he's a great leader
even if he does have personal problems. People better judge
themselves before they start picking on other people."
