BYU Singers to fill Carnegie Hall in New York City June 8th
The Brigham Young University Singers will finish an international tour with
a June 8th concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City. The 40 voice group
will have returned from a tour of eight cities in the United Kingdom, three
cities in Israel and from Amman, Jordan.
The ensemble, formed in 1984 by its current director, Dr. Ronald Staheli,
performs music in nearly every genre. Its popularity has led to the group
visiting twenty foreign countries and to representing the U.S. at the
Fourth World Symposium on Choral Music in Sydney, Australia in 1996.
