SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- A SecurFone America press release indicates that the LDS Church has become a client of a major new purchasing service. A SecurFone America subsidiary, Ixata.com, signed the Church as a client for its RFP Express service, a system that allows the creation, sending, receiving and managing the purchasing process for real estate. The LDS Church owns thousands of pieces of property, many of which are purchased or sold each year.

The RFP Express service automates the purchasing process, and seeks to reduce the amount of effort required to make purchases.
