Hill AFB Commander Promises to Increase the Hiring of Racial Minorities
A group protesting a decision by an official at Hill Air Force Base
near Ogden, Utah, was not happy with the response they received.
The Hispanic group Image de Utah was upset with Major General
Richard Roellig talking to members of the LDS First Presidency about
using LDS employment services to help with staffing situations at
the airbase.
Court dismisses Idaho graduation prayer suit
The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals dismissed
a suit challenging student-led prayers at graduation exercises for the
Madison School District in eastern Idaho.

Court-ordered outpatient commmitment is the law in nearly 35 states
and will soon be considered by New York to be the rule and not the
exception. A mandatory treatment bill could force mentally ill patients
to take drugs needed to manage manic depression and personality
disorders such as schizophrenia.
